James Cameron's Avatar: The Game is the official videogame based on the highly anticipated film James Cameron's Avatar. The videogame will take you deep into the heart of Pandora, an alien planet that is beyond imagination. Gamers will encounter the Na'vi, Pandora's indigenous people and discover other life forms the likes of which have never been seen in the world of videogames before. When conflict erupts between the RDA Corporation, a space-faring consortium in search of valuable resources, and the Na'vi, gamers will find themselves thrust into a fight for the heart of a planet and the fate of a civilisation.

I saw in the trailer that this was going to be either a 3rd person shooter or a melee game depending on who you pick, RDA or Navi.
I picked RDA and had great fun but you cant even aim (with a scope or zoom) which makes it quiet hard to shoot at long range.
The other thing is the viper wolves which is the most irritating thing ever. They come at you from all angles and are super fast and hard to kill.
The good things are the amazing graphics and as in the movie the environment is beautiful. I love games that you are not always doing missions and this is one of those games. Its great fun goin into pandoras jungles hunting down Navi camps or in the Navis case RDA bases.
Overall good game but iwouldnt buy it unless you get a good bargain

Customer rating: 2 out of 5 stars Oh dear...

First off I don't own this game, but i've been on it and watched it enough times to review it.
I didn't particularly love the film, and the game is even worse.
Just like the film, it is just a pretty face, with the game offering NOTHING except to use the same move continously on the approaching RDA, it's like being on Devil May Cry.
Yes the graphics are good, but at the end of the day the game itself is rubbish!
The stars are for the graphics, and the fact that u can play as both sides, which nearly saves it, but sadly not.
